Zapa award nomination for Aviva Stadium project

Zapa technology have received another nomination for their already award winning NFC technology systems.  This time Zapa are in the running for a Stadium Business Award, which recognise achievement, innovation, fresh thinking and the leaders in the world of stadium, arena and sports venue management.

We’re shortlisted in the product innovation category for our work with Agilysys at the state of the art Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Using Zapa Technology, the Aviva Stadium offers its customers loyalty discounts and offers without having to print out pesky coupons or search for their loyalty card.  We use Near Field Communication technology to avoid all that and to make life easier for customers.  The technology is integrated into Agilysys pay points throughout the stadium

Not only does it incentivise and reward match goers to spend their money within the stadium, but it also fits in nicely with the Aviva Stadium’s Green policy.  Everything about Zapa Technology is digital, so there are no paper print outs involved.  Corporate clients are given preloaded cashless cards allowing them to avail of all the perks without reaching for their wallet.

The Stadium Business Awards winners will be announced at gala evening at Camp Nou, Barcelona on June 15th.
